Second Set of PNYL Games Wraps Up in Richmond, BC

Saturday, Nov. 12th youth teams from across the Pacific Northwest took to the pool at the Watermania complex in Richmond, BC for their second set of Pacific Northwest Youth League (PNYL) water polo games. Comprised of teams from Washington, Oregon and lower mainland, British Columbia, the PNYL was established in 2015 to help provide cost effective water polo competition for youth athletes in the Pacific Northwest region. Saturday's games had 21 teams from 7 clubs competing in three divisions (14u boys, 14u coed and 12u coed). Game results, including box scores and divisional standings, can be found here.
Both Spartan 12u Coed and Rain city 12u Coed teams had a strong showing in the 12u division, while Storm 14u girls and Saanich 14u girls earned some solid results in the 14u coed division. In the 14u boys bracket Fraser Valley White and Black teams put together some great wins, while Northwest 14u boys managed to remain unbeaten in league play. PNYL teams will be back in the water on Dec. 10th in Coquitlam, BC for the last set on PNYL games hosted by Pacific Storm Water Polo.
